How buying works
Four steps.
No pressure.
We start with what it has to do
Commute or hauling. Car seats. A tight garage. Cleveland winters. What you can really pay a month, and how much you want down. Those answers narrow it down faster than a make and model.
We go look
Our own stock first, then trades, then the auctions. If the right car isn’t around this week, we’ll say so.
It gets 16-point inspected
Every car we sell, at both locations. Whatever we find is either fixed or told to you before you decide. Safe, sound, and reliable.
Paperwork, insurance, keys
Clean titles, straight numbers, coverage in place before you drive off, and a shop that already knows the car if anything comes up.

That’s Cane’s line about Canton. Not everybody is shopping at the same level, and there’s nothing wrong with either end of it. The inspection doesn’t change with the price.
A cheap car is still a cheap car. If you’re buying at the lower end, we’ll tell you what will need doing in the first year and what that costs.
Sometimes you should keep the car you have. If what you’re driving is worth fixing, we’ll tell you, and our shop will do the work.
Trading something in
Tell us what it is and what’s wrong with it, including the parts you’d rather not mention. We’d rather give you a real number now than a big one that gets walked back at signing.

Say so before anybody runs anything. We’ll look at where you stand and tell you what’s realistic. If the answer is wait ninety days and do three things, you’ll hear that. How that works →
