Somebody to read
the policy with you.
Almost nobody reads their own insurance policy. We’ll sit down and go through yours. What you’re covered for, what you’re not, and what your lender is asking for.
What we go through
The parts that
cost people
money.
Bring your declarations page, the one-page summary your insurer sends at renewal.
Being clear
What we are,
and what
we aren’t.
What we do
Read your policy with you and translate it. Tell you where you’re thin and where you’re paying for more than you need. Explain what a lender can legitimately ask for. Help you get the paperwork in place before you drive a car off. Point you to licensed agents and tell you what to ask them.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell insurance. We are not a carrier, an agency, or a licensed producer. We don’t bind coverage, quote rates, or take a commission on what you buy.
Sometimes the answer is that your insurance is fine.
Common questions
What do I need to bring?
Your declarations page, and your current bill if you have it. If you’re shopping rather than reviewing, bring the details of the car instead.
My lender says I need full coverage. Is that true?
A lender can require you to protect the car, usually comprehensive and collision with a cap on the deductible, with them listed as lienholder. No insurer sells a product called “full coverage.” We’ll show you what your loan agreement says.
Can you get me a cheaper rate?
We can’t quote or bind anything, that’s licensed work. What we can do is show you where your money is going, what can be adjusted, and what to ask a licensed agent.
I’ve had a lapse in coverage.
You’re not the first. A lapse follows you for a while, but it isn’t permanent. We’ll walk you through what it affects and roughly how long it lasts.
Does this cost anything?
Ask. Going through a page with somebody who is buying or servicing a car with us is part of the relationship. Anything more involved than that, we’ll agree a price before we start.
Expert Auto Exchange LLC is not an insurance carrier, agency, or licensed producer. Nothing on this page is an offer of insurance or a substitute for advice from a licensed agent. Coverage decisions are yours, made with your insurer.
